Equipment

  • Air Fryer (this is one we used)
  • Paper liners (these are our favourite)

Ingredients

  • 4 Frozen Chicken Breasts
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  • Remove the chicken breasts from the freezer.
  • If they are in cling film/plastic wrap or in a freezer bag remove it and transfer to a paper liner in the air fryer. Alternatively, you can cook your frozen chicken breasts directly in a foil tray.
  • Place the frozen chicken breasts into the air fryer and air fry at 160c/320f for 38 minutes.
  • Important – make sure you use a thermometer to double check that the chicken at its thickest part has reached an internal temperature of 70c/160f or above. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

Notes

Marinades. We highly recommend air frying chicken (especially frozen chicken breasts) in a marinade. This keeps the chicken nice and juicy, it tastes amazing, and you will not believe it started off frozen. Get our air fryer chicken marinades here.
Size. Note that our air fryer chicken breast time and temp is based on medium frozen chicken breasts. You will need to add extra for smaller or larger.
Dual. If you have an air fryer dual (such as this one we have) we recommend instead making one of your sides in one drawer and then the chicken in the other. Then you can have a full meal ready together.
