Air Fryer Oven Roast Duck

Ingredients

  • 1 Medium Whole Duck we used a 1.2kg/2.6lb duck
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  • Remove your duck from the packaging and season it well with salt and pepper. Add a layer of extra virgin olive oil and rub it into all the visible skin on the duck.
  • Place the whole duck on the rotisserie skewers and make sure it is secure before adding it to the air fryer oven. Set the temperature to 180c/360f and cook for 55 minutes.
  • Let the duck rest once cooked for 5 minutes prior to serving.

Notes

If you want your duck to be like you have at the Chinese, add in your favourite Chinese seasoning when you add the salt and pepper.
The drip tray. Who doesn't love duck fat potatoes. You can collect the duck fat from the bottom drip tray and then use it for your next roast potatoes.
The rotisserie can usually handle up to 1.3kg of weight so aim for a max of 1.2kg/2.6lbs of whole duck.
