Equipment
- Crockpot Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 225 g /8oz Sausage Meat
- 2 Slices Bread
- 1 Small Onion
- 1 Medium Leek
- 1 Tbsp heaped Salted Butter
- 2 Tsp Thyme
- 2 Tsp Bouquet Garni
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- Let’s slow cook stuffing. Start by chopping the leek into small chunks and giving it a wash.

- Next chop the bread into chunks, reserving some of the non-crust bits for breadcrumbs. Then add the chunks into the slow cooker along with all other ingredients and then rub the remaining bread over the slow cooker to create a breadcrumb effect.

- Flour your hands and then mix the slow cooker ingredients with your hands, until all ingredients are well mixed. Then form into a large ball. Press down in the bottom of the slow cooker to layer it into a big layer of stuffing.

- Slow cook the stuffing for 3 hours on high or 6.5 hours on low, stirring halfway through to ensure it doesn’t stick to the bottom.
